WhiteHat raises $16 Million, To Move its Apprenticeship Platform

In a Series A round led by Index Venture Partners, WhiteHat, a London-based apprentice coaching, networking and matching platform has raised $16 million. Lightspeed Venture Partners and Salesforce Ventures participated in the funding round.

WhiteHat was founded in 2016 and will use the money to expand in the UK and add more employers to its programs. WhiteHat matches employers and apprentices and provides coaching sessions. The apprenticeships available include digital marketing, accounting and leadership job.

The organization argues to have more than 750 apprentices, with more than 1,000 individuals applying every week to enter their apprenticeship programs. It claims to serve 250 employers which include the likes of BP, Facebook and Salesforce.
