1.2 Cr from Indian Foreign Investors is secured by Mumbai-based start-up, Caymus

Caymus Technology Ventures, a Mumbai-based EdTech start-up ended up raising ₹1.2 crore in an angel round from a clutch of angel investors from the US as well as India. In order to fuel its growth and good amount of investments to its core AI-based technology and product stack.

Rob Solomon, Technology Leader, Silicon Valley participated in the round and might join the advisory board as a mentor.

Kavita Mehta, founder and CEO, Caymus said that this is the time when there are multiple platforms which bring instructional content from universities and organisations to learners’ personal space providing opportunities of improving their skills while working. The EdTech platform has been immensely impacted by such EdTech platforms. Generally, students are highly confused as in which subjects to select but here AI will be leveraged so that candidates remain informed and make right-fit decisions about the skills that they prefer adding into their portfolio.

This EdTech start-up is an education platform for global university and MBA placements. It is known to be seeded in the year 2018 by Kavitha Mehta.

Helping individuals navigate a myriad of learning options this start-up and its proprietary engine uses 20+data points for making recommendations based on an individual’s specific criteria.

Rob Solomon, an investor at Caymus reportedly said that Kavita is an old acquaintance and that this all this while through this long-standing association with her she has proven that she possesses the right skill sets, range of experiences and global network to make an impact at scale.
