Nvidia – Fundamentals of Deep Learning for Computer Vision

MIT – Deep Learning for Self-Driving Cars

As with the course above, MIT takes the approach to explore the specific technologies involved by using one major real-world aspect of AI as a jump-off point. The self-driving cars that are widely expected to be part of our daily lives rely on AI to make sense of all the data that hits the range of sensors of the vehicle and safely navigate the roads. This involves teaching machines to interpret sensor data just as our own brains interpret eye, ear and touch signals. It covers the use of the simulator MIT DeepTraffic, which challenges students to teach a simulated car to drive along a busy road as quickly as possible without colliding with other road users. This is a course that was taught for the first time last year at the bricks ‘ n ‘ mortar university, and all materials including lecture videos and exercises are available online – but you won’t be able to get a certification.
