Technology is changing the way education field works, and to keep up with all the changes and developments happening, educational and technical professionals go to as many edtech conferences as they can. Let’s take a look at some of them that passed by in the first quarter of 2018.

21CLHK10 2018


The 10th Anniversary of the 21st Century Learning Conference is an annual event in Hong Kong that took place on January 19-20. Teachers, staff, and school leaders come together to learn and discuss current and emerging topics in education with thought leaders, technology, and learning experts, and like-minded peers. The Conference attracted more than 700 attendees from 35 countries.

FETC 2018

One of the largest independent PreK-12 edtech events for education and technology, the 35th edition of Future of Education Technology Conference (FETC) took place on Jan 23-26 in Orlando. It helps leaders to connect and collaborate on leveraging technology to drive student success and offers unparalleled opportunities to explore the evolving role of technology in the enhancement of learning and improvement of performance in PK-12 schools and districts.

Educon 2018

A conference on innovation that brings together attendees in person and virtually to discuss new ideas in the field of education and its future, Educon 2018 took place on Jan 26-28 in Philadelphia. It focuses on the idea that schools must be inquiry-driven, thoughtful and empowering for all members and learning must be networked.


A component of the South by Southwest (SXSW) family of events internationally recognized for gathering creative professionals in the field of education, the eighth edition of SXSW EDU® Conference & Festival took place on March 5-8 in Texas. The event included in-depth workshops, mentorship, engaging learning experiences, film screenings, policy discussions, startup events, competitions, exhibitions, networking and more.
